The number of grafts you need to fill in your thinning/bald area with thick, full hair. If you require #1,000 grafts, it means $2,990. #2,000 grafts mean $5,980. Simple.

It’s the movement of grafts from where your hair is abundant to where it is thin or bald. The abundant area (donor) is trimmed and anesthetized so you feel no pain. Microextraction is done to get grafts with 1, 2, 3, or 4 hairs per graft. The singles go in the frontal hairline to make it look natural. Doubles go behind the singles for blending, triples, and quadruples and for density, fullness, and a nice thick head of hair.

This is a procedure we haven’t done in many years because it involves removing a strip of the scalp and suturing the area. It leaves a linear scar caused by the use of scalpels and stitching/suturing.

Hairline lowering is to fix the “receding” from the phrase “receding hairline.” Hairline lowering is our specialty. The new hairline will involve only single hair grafts, so it will not look like it’s made of hair plugs. The exact shape of the new hairline is drawn before the procedure begins and must be approved by the patient before we begin. The distance from the new hairline to the eyebrows, the new hairline’s interaction with existing hairs, the temples, and patterns are all considered.

Since we use extractors .7mm-2.0mm, we can transplant fine, straight, wavy, curly, and even corkscrew hair.
